Duties Prepare and mix bread dough using standardized recipes and proper food handling techniques Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters efficiently and safely Shape, portion, and bake bread products to meet quality standards and customer expectations Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and sanitation protocols Manage food safety practices in compliance with health regulations and company policies Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying supervisors of shortages Support other kitchen staff during busy periods with food preparation tasks like bussing or ingredient prep Experience Previous experience in food preparation, bakery, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for handling sales transactions when needed Strong time management skills to ensure timely production of bread products during peak hours Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in a commercial kitchen setting Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and processing cash transactions if required Customer service experience is beneficial for interacting with team members and supporting overall food service operations Retail or grocery store experience related to food handling or bakery departments is advantageous Join us in creating mouthwatering bread that keeps customers coming back!
