Your primary role will be preparing authentic dosas and other delicious Indian street foods while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Prepare authentic dosas and other menu items following established recipes and food safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, hygiene, and food safety protocols throughout your shift Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with precision Assist with upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer experience Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and other appliances essential for food preparation Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience Support food handling procedures to meet all health regulations and maintain high sanitation standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations of the food truck in a lively environment Experience Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred Culinary experience or background working in a food industry setting is advantageous Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining quality standards Previous roles involving cash handling, cashiering, or retail sales transactions are beneficial Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is essential Retail or grocery store experience can be valuable for understanding inventory management and customer interactions Join us in bringing authentic flavors to life on wheels!
