McGregor Vineyard Winery is looking for a friendly, organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team for weekend work, a great fit for students or anyone looking for a fun part-time job. We're a team-oriented workplace that strives to create a positive experience for both staff and guests. You'll work with Mike, our tasting room manager, to help maintain menu standards and make sure guests' food orders are prepared and presented well. This isn't a chef or cooking position, you'll be organizing, prepping, heating, and plating food. No experience? No problem, we love teaching and training, so we'll show you everything you need to know. McGregor Vineyard Winery, overlooking Keuka Lake in Dundee, NY, is known for being a pioneer of premium estate grown and bottled vinifera wines, with one of the most beautiful views of Keuka Lake around. Our ideal Kitchen Assistant is someone who: Can maintain an organized and sanitary workspace Can build simple menu items such as charcuterie and cheese boards Can work in a team setting with a positive attitude You will be responsible for: Daily kitchen preparation: ensure all food is prepped and ready for daily service Keeping the kitchen space clean and sanitized Helping to wash glasses & dishes throughout service Helping to keep tables bused and clean in the tasting room Must be at least 16 years old.

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 18.0 per week
