Duties Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, such as egg sandwiches and panini, adhering to quality and safety standards Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately Manage customer orders at the counter with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas and dining surfaces Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and ensure accurate cash handling Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation tasks Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety and sanitation compliance Assist with retail sales transactions when needed, providing excellent customer service during busy periods Keeping all work stations clean and sanitary Taking out the trash as needed. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments Familiarity with POS systems a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Retail sales experience is a plus, especially in café or food industry settings Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional food experiences!
