Duties Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and efficiently according to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and resetting dining areas for new guests Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or equipment around the kitchen and dining areas Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, supporting the overall guest experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments with accuracy Follow safe lifting practices during all manual handling tasks to prevent injuries and ensure workplace safety Qualifications Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations Experience with food running, serving, or in-person customer service is highly desirable Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently and uphold hygiene standards Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling while adhering to safe lifting practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a lively restaurant environment.
