In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring that all food preparation tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a seamless flow in meal production, supporting our commitment to delivering delicious, safe, and beautifully presented dishes. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, slicing, chopping, and measuring according to recipes and safety standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient inventory management to ensure timely availability of supplies Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and food processors safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Support cooking and meal assembly processes to meet quality and presentation standards Follow strict food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations Skills Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven food preparation and cooking skills, including knife techniques and slicing methods Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in a food industry setting Ability to operate various kitchen equipment confidently and safely Strong communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff Familiarity with catering processes and restaurant kitchen workflows is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise in a fast-paced environment.
