Job Overview Join our pizza shop team as a Kitchen Help, where your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to creating delicious, high-quality pizzas and supporting smooth kitchen operations in a fast pace environment. This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to gain culinary experience, develop essential kitchen skills, and be part of a dynamic food service environment. As a Kitchen Help, you will be expected to be to work nights and weekends, you will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness standards, and operate kitchen equipment to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the food industry and is based on experience. Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling pizza, subs and salads with toppings according to established recipes and menu standard. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other necessary tools Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas following food safety sanitizing procedures Follow food safety management protocols to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination Support the team in adhering to recipe guidelines and quality control measures during high-volume production shifts Requirements Previous dietary aide or food service experience preferred; familiarity with menu planning is a plus Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques is a plus Experience in fast pace environment, nights and weekend availability Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Prior restaurant or high-volume production experience highly desirable Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary environment This role offers an engaging environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction.
