Job Description
Welcome to The Melting Pot, we are a beloved locally-owned restaurant since 1988. We have a VERY friendly, collaborative COLD kitchen where all staff members are treated with respect. The prep chef is a great position with AM hours and you are generally done by 2 or 3. It is a fun and easy going position where you will learn about all of the ingredients that go into our wonderful cuisine. We work in an experiantial dining resaturant that require a lot of love and detail into our prep items. This sepcific position that we are hiring for is a single position for 5 days a week, Friday through Tuesday. On our bussiest days, Fridat - Sunday, you will work with a small team. On Monday and Tuesday, you will work alone. We are a driven staff that works diligently to keep one of the best known restaurants in Portland alive!
