Front Counter/Prep/Catering Kona Cafe Hawaiian Barbecue Springfield, OR Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17 - $18 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Food provided Qualifications Food handling Customer service Dishwashing Greeting customers In-person customer service Food preparation Food safety Full Job Description Kona Cafe Hawaiian Barbecue is seeking friendly, outgoing and dependable people who will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, taking payment, and preparing food in a fast-paced environment. Must have at least one year of restaurant experience, preferably a busy restaurant. Excellent customer service, sense of humor, good attitude. We are a fast casual restaurant that has great food and great prices, so we stay busy throughout the year, busier in summer season, with a lot of weekend catering. Ability to multi-task is a must. Ability to pick up the pace when super busy. Must work weekends, start time will be 11 or 2 pm, ending time is usually 8:30 pm (or when the work is done), earlier when we sell out. Work is split by multitasking between FOH and BOH , which includes raw meat prep, fresh produce prep, making sauces, doing dishes, cleaning, etc. Full training on everything. Weekly paychecks. Self motivated multi-tasker Able to work independently Reliable transportation 1 year of restaurant experience required Restaurant is open everyday from 11 am to 8 pm. Daily tips paid in cash, not on paycheck No phone calls please. We try to be as casual as possible while staying true to quality and consistency while being busy.
