Kitchen Utility / Prep Associate - Full-Time Water Gap Wellness is seeking a dependable, hardworking Kitchen Utility / Prep Associate to join our kitchen team. This is a full-time position focused primarily on maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, with some light food preparation responsibilities.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-7:00

PM Pay:

$16.00-$17.00 per hour, depending on experience

Full-Time, Benefits Eligible Position Responsibilities Approximately 80% Dishroom & Kitchen Cleaning Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishroom and kitchen areas Clean and sanitize work surfaces, floors, equipment, and designated food-service areas Remove trash and maintain proper waste disposal Follow established sanitation, food safety, and infection-control procedures Assist with keeping kitchen supplies and equipment organized Approximately 20% Light Food Preparation Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation as directed Portion, prepare, and organize ingredients and food items Assist with kitchen setup, breakdown, and other food-service needs Qualifications Previous kitchen, dishroom, food-service, or cleaning experience preferred but not required Dependable and able to consistently work the Monday-Friday 11:00 AM-7:00 PM schedule Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with kitchen and dishroom work Valid Drivers License Benefits This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position and includes the same benefits offered to other eligible full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and other applicable employee benefits.
