What You'll Do Every day looks a little different, and that's what makes this job rewarding! You'll help create an outstanding guest experience by: Preparing high-quality food with consistency and attention to detail Following recipes, food safety, and portion standards Preparing ingredients and keeping prep stocked for service Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Working efficiently during busy rushes while maintaining quality Communicating with the front-of-house team to ensure accurate and timely orders Assisting with dishes, cleaning, stocking, and other kitchen responsibilities as needed Learning our menu so you can confidently answer questions and help ensure every dish meets our standards Supporting your teammates wherever help is needed Helping create an experience where every guest receives fresh, delicious food and wants to come back What We're Looking For ✅ Previous restaurant, kitchen, line cook, or food prep experience is highly preferred. ✅ Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen is strongly preferred. ✅ Passion for preparing high-quality food and a commitment to consistency. ✅ Comfortable working in a high-volume cafe and restaurant environment where speed, accuracy, and quality are equally important. ✅ Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. ✅ Ability to accurately follow recipes, portion standards, and plating specifications. ✅ Strong menu knowledge or the willingness to become an expert on our food so you can confidently answer guest questions. ✅ Strong work ethic and the ability to multitask under pressure. ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork with both the kitchen and front-of-house staff. ✅ Reliability, accountability, and exceptional attention to detail. ✅ Commitment to following recipes, systems, and standards every time. ✅ Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed. ✅ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods. ✅ Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
