Responsibilities Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices. Assist with food preparation, plating, and garnishing as needed to support kitchen operations. Clear and clean tables promptly by bussing, wiping down surfaces, and resetting for new guests to maintain cleanliness standards. Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling, serving, and delivery to guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate order accuracy and timing. Support in maintaining a clean work environment by performing regular cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing service areas. Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Experience Prior food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with food running or expo duties is a plus. Experience with food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Previous banquet or hospitality experience can enhance your ability to manage high-volume service periods smoothly. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with kitchen staff and delivering excellent guest service. Ability to lift heavy items safely while adhering to safe lifting practices; physical stamina for long shifts on your feet is required.
