- Part-time, Full-time Overview Kanga's Indoor Playcenter & Café is looking for a dependable, energetic Kitchen Team Member to join our team.
This position is responsible for preparing menu items such as pizzas, appetizers, and fried foods while helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment and take pride in providing great food and service, we'd love to hear from you. Paid training is provided. Responsibilities Prepare pizzas, fried foods, and other menu items according to company standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including pizza ovens, fryers, and other food preparation equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen throughout each shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines. Restock food, supplies, and packaging as needed. Work as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. Assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen cleaning duties. Qualifications Current Texas Food Handler Certificate required. Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Weekend availability is required. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
