Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling and storage to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support team members in food preparation, serving, and other duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Skills Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurants is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience or working in the food industry is a plus; kitchen experience or café background is beneficial.
