Duties Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards. Utilize kitchen equipment and tools safely, including knives and other food preparation devices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Support cooks and chefs in various culinary tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all meals served. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in inventory management by helping to track supplies and report shortages. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and cooking techniques. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to meal preparation.
