Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff member, where your energy and dedication will help create a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming environment for our guests. In this role, you will be an essential part of the food service operation, supporting food preparation, safety, and cleanliness standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your enthusiasm and teamwork will contribute to the smooth running of our busy kitchen and dining areas. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and hospitality skills in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready and properly handled according to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly Support bussing and food running duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to meet health regulations Support front-of-house staff with serving guests during peak hours and assist with in-person customer service as needed Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during busy service periods Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests Experience with kitchen tasks such as cooking, food preparation, or banquet service is a plus Hospitality or hotel experience can be advantageous but is not required Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by bringing your enthusiasm for hospitality and culinary excellence.
