In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring that the food preparation areas are clean, well-stocked, and safe. You will work closely with our chefs to assist with basic food preparation, maintain strict sanitation standards, and keep the kitchen running smoothly. No experience is required—we are fully prepared to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a passion for teamwork.

Key Responsibilities Food Preparation:

Assist culinary staff by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

Cleanliness & Sanitation:

Maintain a spotless kitchen environment. Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans manually and using commercial dishwashers. Regularly sanitize countertops, cutting boards, food prep stations, and kitchen equipment.

Waste Management:

Empty kitchen trash cans, recycling bins, and compost buckets throughout the shift. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

Previous experience in a restaurant is a plus, but entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are highly encouraged to apply.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours) and comfortably lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs (such as sacks of potatoes, crates of produce, or large stock pots).

Speed & Efficiency:

Ability to work quickly and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment.

Team Player:

Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude. Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately from senior kitchen staff.
