In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality food. You will be responsible for various kitchen tasks, including food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall production process. We are a wholesale operation only and do not have a retail restaurant location. Work hours are 5:30am - 9:00am, core work hours are 6:00 - 9:00, minimum two shifts per week. Workdays are Monday through Sunday. Our commissary kitchen is located at 1212 S King St, Seattle, WA, with a gated secure free parking lot. Duties Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed diligently. Help with the setup and breakdown of commissary kitchen. Assist with cleaning duties to maintain a clean environment. Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and organization of supplies. Support other team members in various tasks as needed to enhance kitchen efficiency. Skills Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Experience in food preparation or culinary arts is preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to help others as needed. Familiarity with Japanese cooking operations is a plus but not mandatory.
