Position Summary This position is for a key player to execute and package a volume of prepared dinner-type meals in a Woodinville commissary kitchen that are then delivered to individual households. This is a hands-on role for a culinarian who works efficiently with quality and who thrives in a volume, banquet-style production kitchen . You will enjoy a creative, autonomous environment for personal and professional growth. This position follows onsite kitchen instructions from the Chef de Cuisine and reports directly to the Director of Operations and indirectly to the CEO/Owner.   • Eats Amore Meal Delivery Execute batch cooking for large-volume meal production while maintaining quality and consistency in line with company standards to meet or exceed customer expectations Prepare meals with dietary requirements including, but not limited to, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, low sodium, nut free Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements Assist with ingredient prep, inventory management & rotation (FIFO), and minimizing waste Work collaboratively and efficiently with kitchen team onsite to meet production goals Monitor food quality and report any issues with ingredients or equipment Portion, label, and package meals accurately for fulfillment in delivery boxes Assist with safe, efficient driving in personal vehicle within 25-mile radius (excluding ferries) of Woodinville to deliver meals to Eats Amore clients Position may have the opportunity for additional work with Honest to Goodness for event catering and/or special events in private residences and vacation rental properties on days outside of Eats Amore production days•Administrative Weekly submission of service reports via online form by required deadline to report your hours, any company-related expenses, & service notes Attendance at weekly staff meetings & quarterly socials & volunteer events•Other responsibilities as requested by your managers Skills Required Proficiency in a variety of cooking styles, cuisines, techniques, & diets; willing to learn new methodologies Current Washington State Food Worker Card (or ServSafe or ICFSM) & MAST Class 12 Permit Strong oral & written communication skills & interpersonal abilities High level of organization to work efficiently & productively to achieve deadlines High level of attention to detail in all work-related applications Ability to solve problems independently, or to present possible solutions to team members for discussion; including being resourceful in problem-solving circumstances Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with self-discipline, focus, & inherent motivation Proficiency with technology applications such as Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), with willingness to learn other technology applications as required for the position Ability to adhere to strict levels of confidentiality regarding clients Ability to provide & receive ongoing feedback in a professional manner as related to job performance Ability to contribute new ideas for company enhancement, including ways to streamline processes & enhance efficiencies related to your job position Ability to perform job responsibilities in the spirit of the company's mission and vision statements & in alignment with our branding and company values

Evenings, Weekends, & Holidays for special events Physical Requirements Manual dexterity to handle kitchen tools and knives Lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds of kitchen equipment and bulk food ingredients, such as large pots and racks of food Perform repetitive motions such as chopping, stirring, and kneading Ability to visually inspect prepared food for quality and presentation standards Ability to stand and walk around a large facility for extended periods Comfortable working in hot, cold, and fast-paced environments Knowledge and safe usage of commercial dishwashing equipment to properly clean, sanitize, and store both company-owned and communal equipment Compensation & Classification This position is paid hourly at $27.00-30.00/hour DOE , payable in accordance with the Company's regular payroll practices. This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable Washington State wage and hour laws. The employee is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek (Monday-Sunday), unless otherwise required by law. The normal work schedule for this position is 12-20 hours per week . There is opportunity to grow to full-time based on business demand and client retention. All hours worked must be accurately recorded weekly via company-provided online form.
