Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling cash register operations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols, including proper food handling and kitchen equipment operation. Assist customers with their inquiries, provide friendly service, and promote additional sales through effective upselling techniques. Ensure all retail sales transactions are completed accurately while processing cash transactions and handling cash with integrity. Support the team in operating kitchen equipment safely, restocking supplies, and maintaining overall cleanliness to meet health standards. Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is a plus; food industry or café experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety management, sanitation practices, and kitchen equipment operation. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior experience in retail sales transactions or cashiering is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Willing to participate in training, and learn about the job.
