01/13/2026 Description of Position Enforces all aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations; Recognizes and responds effectively to emergencies; Inspects the aquatic facility on a daily schedule and reports unsafe conditions and equipment to the Lead Pool Assistant; Completes records and reports. Works as part of a team, attending training, orientation and/or staff meetings as necessary. Swim Instructor ($20/hr) : Instructs children, youth and/or adults in learn-to-swim skills and techniques Demonstrates proper swimming skills Complies with lesson plans Supervise classes through skill practice Organize skill practice to enhance skill learning Performs customer relations role which may include interacting with parents, participants, business or program partners, and/or staff to provide information and solve problems Sets up and puts away equipment as needed

Minimum Expectations & Requirements Swim Instructor :

• Current Life Guard, Red cross water and CPR certification
• Good customer service/public relation skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Must hold a Water Safety Instructor Certification or have at least six (6) months experience teaching all ages from 6 months to adult Preferred Skills & Abilities
