What You'll Do Maintain active surveillance of the pool and surrounding areas Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies Enforce safety rules and YMCA policies Build positive relationships with members and guests Perform pool safety checks and facility inspections Assist with maintaining a clean and safe aquatic environment Work collaboratively with the aquatics team What Makes a Great Lifeguard at the Y? Required Certifications:

American Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard Certificate, American Red Cross First Aid for the Public Safety Personnel (Title 22), and American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certificate.
