As a vital member of our facility, you will be responsible for monitoring pool activity, enforcing safety rules, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Your energetic presence will promote water safety awareness and provide exceptional guest services, creating a positive experience for everyone who visits. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant setting dedicated to health, safety, and fun. Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety at all times Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe and respectful environment Respond promptly and effectively to water emergencies, including water rescues and medical incidents Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and checking water quality Assist with guest inquiries, provide excellent customer service, and promote a welcoming atmosphere Prepare incident reports and communicate with emergency responders when necessary Requirements Valid lifeguard certification with current First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Basic Life Support certification Proven lifeguard experience in an aquatic or recreational setting Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues efficiently Knowledge of water safety procedures, public safety protocols, and emergency response techniques for medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest Experience working with children and providing water safety instruction is preferred Ability to perform light pool maintenance including cleaning and chemical checks; heavy lifting may be required during certain tasks Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Join us in creating a safe, fun-filled environment where every guest can enjoy the water confidently! Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 18.0 per week
