October 18, 2026 At 11:59 pm This part-time, seasonal position will be responsible for working at the Rink at Stine Community Park during the ice-skating season. Tentative 2026 - 2027 operating season is December 4, 2026 - February 28, 2027 with mandatory training to begin November 14, 2026. DUTIES Practice excellent customer service and preventative safety. Monitor facility, handle trash disposal, and enforce rules to ensure safety. Facilitate skate rentals to customers. Work in concessions office. Assist with pre-season start-up and post-season shut-down of facility. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 16 years of age. Become certified in CPR/First Aid within 6 months of hire. (City of Troy may cover costs to obtain). Ability to work outdoors, often in cold and snowy conditions. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen (including marijuana).
PREFERENCES
Certified in CPR/First Aid. Ice skating experience.
EVALUATION PROCESS
Application Review and Interview HOURS :
Part-time, approximately 15 - 25 hours per week. Schedule and availability must be attentive to programming and customer service needs. Regular schedule includes three to four (3-4) days per week including morning, afternoon, evening, weekday, and weekend hours.
