This position is perfect for anyone looking for good pay and flexible hours; including high school students, college students, or parents with kids in school. No prior teaching experience is required—we provide the training to help you feel confident leading lessons and working with swimmers of all levels. Responsibilities Lead swim lessons for various ages and skill levels Teach proper swimming techniques and water safety Maintain a safe pool environment and enforce pool rules Use games and activities to keep lessons fun and engaging Monitor student progress and provide feedback Work with team members to support classes and events Experience No prior teaching experience required (training provided) Experience working with children, coaching, or teaching is a plus Comfortable swimming and being in the water Lifeguard experience or certification preferred Ideal Candidates Enjoy working with children Responsible, patient, and positive Comfortable in the water Willing to learn About us: High Point Swim Club has been teaching lessons since 1962.
