Job Description
Lifeguards monitor activities and ensure the safety of swimmers at aquatic facilities, responding to emergency situations. Lifeguards participate in swimming pool/facility safety and maintenance activities. Lifeguard (Indoor) <20 positions work 19 or fewer hours per week in an indoor Aquatics facility. This is a Safety Sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing. Education / higher education : Should have completed High School Freshman year; if age 19 or older, must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Other requirements : Must be at least 16 years of age. Must be able to swim at least 1500 yards and tread water for several minutes (will be tested every two weeks). Education and/or experience preferences : Prefer prior experience as a Junior Lifeguard. Driver's License requirement : Infrequent Driver --
