Make a Splash at Splash Lagoon! Make a difference while having fun at work! Join the team at Splash Lagoon Indoor Waterpark as a Lifeguard and help create a safe, exciting experience for our guests. Our Lifeguards play an important role in keeping guests safe while creating a fun, welcoming experience. You'll monitor pools and attractions, enforce waterpark safety rules, respond to emergencies, and work closely with fellow Lifeguards and team members to provide a safe environment for our guests. No lifeguard certification? No problem! Splash Lagoon provides free lifeguard certification training, so you can earn your certification while getting paid to learn ! What You'll Do Monitor pools, water attractions, and guest activity to identify and prevent potential safety concerns. Enforce waterpark rules and safety procedures in a firm, fair, friendly, and professional manner. Maintain constant awareness of swimmers and changing conditions in your assigned area. Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies and activate emergency action procedures when necessary. Provide first aid and emergency care, including CPR, AED, oxygen administration, and other lifesaving skills as trained. Assist guests while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and other departments. Work effectively as part of a Lifeguard team while also being able to work independently. Maintain required certifications and lifesaving skills at a test-ready level. Properly use, inspect, and care for Lifeguard and emergency equipment. Follow all Splash Lagoon safety policies, procedures, and training requirements. Help create a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for every guest. What We're Looking For Must be 16 years of age or older . Must be able to successfully complete a swim test and Lifeguard certification requirements. Strong swimming ability and comfort working around pools and water attractions. Ability to remain alert, focused, and attentive for extended periods of time. Ability to recognize and respond to potential emergencies quickly. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to speak loudly and clearly enough to communicate across pool and waterpark areas. Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and emergency instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional, dependable, positive, and guest-focused attitude. Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods, including working from an elevated Lifeguard chair. Ability to lift and drag up to 150 pounds unassisted when necessary.
