Nashville, TN Job Details Part-time $19.00 - $27.56 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Lifeguard Training Stress management Customer service Patience Guest services Full Job Description Lifeguard for Metropolitan Government of Nashville Department of Parks and Recreation. We are seeking a responsible, alert, and safety-focused Lifeguard to oversee aquatic activities and ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests. Someone who will provide excellent customer service to guests and patrons. The Lifeguard will monitor the pool and locker rooms, enforce safety rules, respond to emergencies, and provide first aid when necessary. This role requires strong observational skills, physical fitness and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Key responsibilities
  • Monitor swimmers and surrounding areas to prevent accidents and injuries .
  • Enforce Pool rules and safety regulations.
  • Recognize signs of distress and respond quickly and appropriately.
  • Perform water rescues, CPR, AED use and first aid as needed.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of pool deck and locker rooms.
  • Participate in regular in-service training and emergency drills.
