Ensworth has a leading aquatic facility committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for every swimmer. Our dedicated team of lifeguards plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and well-being of all guests, ensuring a positive experience for everyone who visits our facility. We are currently seeking responsible and vigilant individuals to join our team as lifeguards at Ensworth Aquatics. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for supervising our pool area, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies as needed. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our guests and promote water safety within our community.

Responsibilities:

Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests and enforce pool rules and regulations Remain alert and attentive at all times, scanning the pool area for potential hazards or unsafe behavior Respond promptly to emergencies, including providing first aid, CPR, or other life-saving measures as necessary Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to address questions, concerns, and incidents Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the pool in like-new condition, organized, and hazard-free

Qualifications:

Current lifeguard certification from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, Ellis & Associates, YMCA). Candidates without a current lifeguard certification will be considered if candidate is willing to obtain certification quickly. Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water rescue techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure Previous lifeguarding experience preferred, but not required

Schedule:

Part-time Early Morning Weekday Shifts starting at 5:30am. Shift end time is flexible. Early Morning Saturday Shift starting at 5:45am. How to
