Lifeguard

Overview Join the RRLE team as a Lifeguard and become a vital protector of safety at our pools. In this energetic role, you will oversee pool areas, ensure guest safety, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all visitors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for swimming with your commitment to guest service and safety. Duties Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed. Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies. Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary. Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan as required. Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable. Supervises and assists in cleaning the pool and related facilities and equipment. Experience Prior lifeguard experience or certification Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate, or equivalent American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, or equivalent American Red Cross Standard First Aid, or equivalent Ability to swim confidently in deep water and perform water rescues effectively Strong communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused attitude Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Join us in creating a safe, fun-filled environment where guests can relax and enjoy their time by the water. $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
