In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards across hotel facilities, and assisting the departments at the hotel property. Your proactive approach to cleaning and sanitation will directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests, making their stay memorable from check-in to check-out. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including vacuuming, floor care, dusting, and surface sanitation throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring effective sanitation while maintaining safety standards. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other janitorial tools to deliver high-quality results. Manage heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies or equipment with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests related to cleanliness or amenities, ensuring a positive experience. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supply inventories, and safety checks to support operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and floor care products used in hotel settings. Ability to handle chemical agents safely in accordance with SDS guidelines and safety protocols. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, or floor scrubbers. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Previous experience with hotel housekeeping or custodial experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
