Job Overview Four Points by Sheraton is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Housekeeper to join our hotel team. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas while consistently meeting hotel cleanliness, safety, and guest-service standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands the importance of attention to detail, works well independently and as part of a team, and is committed to providing every guest with a clean and comfortable stay. Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards. Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest-room amenities and supplies. Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean all assigned areas of guest rooms. Clean and maintain furniture, windows, doors, baseboards, and other room surfaces as required. Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure they meet established cleanliness and presentation standards. Report maintenance issues, damage, safety concerns, or unusual conditions to the appropriate department or supervisor. Properly handle and document lost-and-found items according to hotel policy. Maintain and organize housekeeping carts, closets, equipment, and supplies. Follow proper procedures for the handling of cleaning chemicals, equipment, linens, and guest property. Assist with cleaning and maintaining designated public areas, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other hotel areas as assigned. Complete assigned rooms and tasks within established productivity and quality expectations. Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and communicate guest concerns to management when necessary. Maintain a professional appearance and follow all hotel policies and procedures. Work cooperatively with Front Desk, Maintenance, Housekeeping leadership, and other hotel departments. Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work independently. Must have dependable transportation to and from work. Must have an excellent attendance and punctuality record. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Must have strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards. Must be able to work at a steady pace while maintaining quality. Must be able to interact professionally with guests and coworkers. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced hotel environment. Previous experience with Marriott or another major hotel brand is a plus.

Pay:

$14.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
