Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle cleaning supplies and chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols. Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and ensure all floor care standards are met consistently. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies to support housekeeping operations. Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling chemical agents and ensuring all cleaning procedures comply with health regulations. Support hotel housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the property. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with strong janitorial expertise. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, floor care products, and appropriate use of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining sanitation standards. Excellent customer service skills to assist guests courteously and professionally when needed. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, vacuuming, and moving furniture. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a hospitality setting.
