Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of public areas, including floors, lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and lounge spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques. Handle various chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a secure environment. Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of cleaning supplies and equipment to facilitate efficient cleaning routines. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and disinfecting surfaces in accordance with hotel housekeeping management protocols. Operate janitorial equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other industrial cleaning tools to uphold cleanliness standards. Respond promptly to guest or staff requests for cleaning or assistance in public areas with excellent customer service skills. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Skills Proven experience in floor care, industrial cleaning, or janitorial work within hospitality or similar settings. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, chemical handling, and safety data sheets (SDS). Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and staff. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and custodial experience is highly desirable. Competence in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other industrial tools.
