Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at WoodSpring Suites Bakersfield Airport. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. Your primary responsibility will be to clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare guest rooms by changing linens, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms (shower, toilet, sink, etc.) Remove and replace used towels and restock amenities such as toiletries, soap, and shampoo Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors to maintain a spotless guest room Clean kitchen areas , including sinks and refrigerators, to ensure a fresh and hygienic space Dispose of trash and remove any items left behind by previous guests Ensure each room is ready for new arrivals , meeting the hotel's cleanliness standards for guest satisfaction Handle varying room assignments , with the number of rooms varying daily based on bookings and occupancy Report maintenance issues or damages within rooms (e.g., broken furniture, plumbing, etc.) Keep public areas like hallways and the lobby clean and organized as needed Work efficiently to meet the daily room cleaning quota and ensure all rooms are cleaned and ready by check-out time
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks (e.g., bending, lifting, standing for long periods) Strong attention to detail in cleaning and room setup Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet cleaning quotas Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Ability to follow hotel cleaning standards and safety protocols
