This is a loving and respectful household seeking someone who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and wants to become a trusted, long-term part of the family. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, proactive, and comfortable balancing childcare with light household support. The family is thoughtful about maintaining reasonable expectations and ensuring the person in this role is supported and not overworked. The position includes private, separate living quarters, allowing the nanny to have her own personal space when off duty.

Responsibilities include:

Providing attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for two children under the age of two Assisting with feeding, diapering, bathing, dressing, naps, and bedtime routines Supporting the newborn's evolving schedule and developmental needs Engaging the children in age-appropriate play, reading, walks, and activities Preparing bottles, simple meals, and snacks for the children Washing and organizing bottles, feeding supplies, toys, and children's belongings Handling the children's laundry and keeping their bedrooms, nursery, and play areas tidy Maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable household environment Assisting with light housekeeping and general tidying throughout the home Helping with family laundry, dishes, household organization, and basic household upkeep Restocking children's and household essentials Running occasional household or child-related errands Communicating closely with the mother and helping the household run smoothly Remaining flexible and helpful as the children's needs and routines evolve The ideal candidate will have: Prior professional experience caring for infants and multiple young children Strong newborn-care knowledge and confidence managing two children under two A warm, nurturing, patient, and safety-conscious nature A genuine willingness to assist with both childcare and light household responsibilities Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills A proactive approach and the ability to recognize what needs to be done A calm, easygoing demeanor and the ability to work collaboratively with a hands-on mother Strong organization and attention to detail Excellent references and a history of reliability and longevity Current infant and child CPR/first-aid certification, or willingness to obtain it A valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for an experienced nanny who is seeking a warm, appreciative family and a comfortable live-in arrangement with private accommodations.
