Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and public areas, as well as managing laundry operations. Your energetic approach will ensure our guests experience a pristine environment that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and floor care to maintain high standards of cleanliness Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, buffers, and chemical sprayers Manage laundry duties such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels Follow safety procedures by handling chemical agents properly and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all cleaning products Assist with janitorial tasks to ensure sanitation across all hotel areas in compliance with health standards Support hotel housekeeping management by adhering to procedures for heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of industrial cleaning practices Strong understanding of floor cleaning, sanitation, and chemical agent handling Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively while following safety protocols Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical products Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies or equipment as needed Familiarity with hospitality standards, hotel housekeeping management practices, and janitorial experience Join us to contribute to creating a welcoming environment where guests feel comfortable and cared for!
