Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools safely and effectively. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to established standards to ensure a hygienic environment. Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or cleaning supplies safely to prevent injury. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Maintain inventory of cleaning detergents and supplies, ensuring proper storage and usage in accordance with safety guidelines. Adhere to time management practices to complete scheduled tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct outdoor work when required for property upkeep or exterior cleaning projects. Document completed work accurately through reports or logs as required by supervisors or clients. Experience Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and equipment operation. Experience with floor care techniques such as mopping, waxing, buffing, and carpet extraction. Background in janitorial or custodial roles with exposure to diverse cleaning environments. Familiarity with handling cleaning detergents safely and understanding of hygiene protocols. Proven ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple tasks in fast-paced settings. Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior property maintenance or outdoor cleaning projects.
