$18.00 per hour Position Summary Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other facility areas. Follow established cleaning and infection-control procedures. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces. Properly handle and dispose of waste and soiled materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping supplies and equipment. Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills. Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and staff. Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous housekeeping experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
