In this vital role, you will ensure our guests experience a pristine, comfortable environment by maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute directly to creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed-making, and bathroom sanitation to meet high standards of cleanliness. Handle cleaning tasks in public areas such as lobbies, hallways and restrooms with efficiency and professionalism. Use appropriate chemical agents for cleaning and sanitation while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and handling chemical agents responsibly. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of janitorial practices and industrial cleaning techniques. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining sanitation standards; familiarity with chemical handling procedures is essential. Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with guests and address their needs professionally. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices to ensure efficient workflow and team coordination. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, manual handling, vacuuming, and other physically demanding tasks. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures ensures safety for yourself and guests during unforeseen events.
