Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Residential Laundry Attendant to wash, dry, fold, and organize household laundry. This position will initially focus primarily on laundry duties. Over time, the role may evolve to include traditional residential housekeeping responsibilities based on household needs. The employee may provide laundry services at multiple residential locations and must be comfortable traveling between locations as needed. A valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and dependable transportation are required. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, handles personal belongings with care, and can complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. This position is best suited for someone who is reliable, organized, respectful of privacy, and comfortable working independently in residential settings. Responsibilities Travel between assigned residential locations to provide laundry services Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and washing instructions Wash and dry clothing, towels, bedding, and other household linens Fold and organize clean laundry neatly Treat stains and follow garment care labels Use laundry products and equipment safely and appropriately Keep laundry rooms and work areas clean and organized Notify the homeowner or supervisor of damaged items, equipment issues, or low supplies Handle clothing and personal belongings carefully and respectfully Complete laundry within the expected timeframe Be willing to take on traditional housekeeping duties in the future as the role develops Perform other household and laundry-related duties as assigned Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required Ability and willingness to travel between residential locations Previous laundry, housekeeping, or residential cleaning experience is preferred but not required Willingness to learn and potentially take on broader housekeeping responsibilities over time Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and organization Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Professional and respectful when working inside private residences Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect household privacy Basic knowledge of laundry products, stain treatment, and garment care Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift and carry laundry baskets weighing up to 25-30 pounds What We Offer Consistent work schedule Professional and respectful working environment Competitive hourly pay Opportunity for the position to grow and expand over time How to Apply Please submit your resume or a brief description of your relevant experience to alexia@lighthouseinsight.com .
