Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment. Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and industrial cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques. Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and safety protocols. Assist with janitorial duties in public areas, corridors, and hotel facilities to uphold overall cleanliness. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures, including reporting maintenance issues and ensuring compliance with hotel emergency procedures. Lift cleaning equipment or supplies safely through manual handling practices while adhering to safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation and cleaning procedures. Skilled in floor cleaning, vacuuming, and guest room cleaning. Will train for knowledge of chemical handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and proper use of cleaning agents to ensure safe work practices. Ability to perform lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, or manual handling tasks. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and hospitality standards to ensure guest safety at all times. Experience with hotel , industrial or janitorial cleaning methods. Strong attention to detail combined with organizational skills necessary for maintaining high cleanliness standards across multiple areas.
