Room Attendant / Housekeeper Casablanca Inn in San Clemente is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and helping maintain a clean, comfortable environment throughout the hotel. Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards. Make beds and replace linens and towels. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including tubs, showers, sinks, toilets, and floors. Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and empty trash. Restock guest-room supplies and amenities. Report maintenance problems, damaged items, and lost-and-found items promptly. Help maintain the cleanliness of guest walkways, stairwells, and other assigned public areas. Organize and restock housekeeping carts and supply areas. Follow proper procedures for cleaning products, equipment, guest belongings, and room access. Respond professionally and courteously when interacting with guests. Assist with laundry or other housekeeping duties as needed. Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent cleaning standards. Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned rooms within the scheduled shift. Ability to follow instructions and communicate with supervisors and other team members. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift. Ability to push or pull a housekeeping cart and safely lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to work with standard hotel cleaning products and equipment. $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
