Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items. Use manual handling techniques safely for heavy lifting or moving furniture and cleaning supplies to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance. Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or garden area cleaning when required. Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations. Contribute to overall housekeeping management by organizing supplies, managing time effectively, and ensuring all tasks are completed promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and appropriate use of cleaning equipment. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts. Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents. Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces when required. Ability to follow detailed instructions for cleaning procedures and safety protocols. Previous experience in residential housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
