Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Guest Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to hospitality standards, possess excellent attention to detail, and have prior experience in cleaning and custodial services within hotel or industrial settings. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive guest experience through diligent housekeeping practices. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain a pristine environment Handle laundry duties by collecting, washing, folding, and storing linens and towels efficiently Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms in accordance with hotel standards Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment Assist with inventory management by stocking cleaning supplies and reporting shortages Support team members in achieving overall cleanliness goals and uphold high standards of hospitality Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping within hotel or industrial environments Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and janitorial equipment Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations Ability to perform physically demanding tasks efficiently and with attention to detail Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use
