Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and reliability are essential. Weekend availability is required. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain high standards of floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust or debris to promote a healthy environment Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning or janitorial tasks when required Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Assist with special projects related to housekeeping management or facility upkeep as assigned Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments such as hotels or healthcare facilities is preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning procedures is advantageous Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team Excellent organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time Ability to lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts Previous custodial or housekeeper management experience is a plus but not required Commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in accordance with health standards
