Our goal is to create an environment where every resident and employee feels supported, valued, and cared for. Job Description Manage and execute the transportation needs of the community. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments and outings while safely driving residents to and from their destinations. Additionally, the transporter supports daily operations by completing vital facility errands. Ensure the provision of a clean environment for our residents and staff, providing high-quality services and high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures. Performs the job in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Hillcrest Care Center & The Towers standards. Essential Duties include but not limited to Manages the transportation calendar to maximize efficiency and avoid scheduling conflicts. Operates community bus to safely drive residents to appointments & social outings. Helps residents safely board and exit the vehicle, providing physical guidance and managing wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids. Accommodates the community's administrative needs by running off-site errands. Communicates effectively regarding resident transportation. Conducts daily inspections. Keeps community transport vehicles clean, well-fueled, and reports any mechanical issues immediately. Maintain driver's license and DMV record in good standing. Provide resident transportation beyond normal working hours, weekends, and holidays when Clean and disinfect all surfaces, including floors, furniture, and fixtures in resident rooms and common areas. Perform daily, weekly, and deep cleaning tasks. Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors. Empty trash cans and ensure proper disposal.
