Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols for chemical handling Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and care for different flooring surfaces to maintain a polished appearance Manage heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or cleaning equipment to ensure efficient workflow and safety Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns Maintain sanitation standards through regular cleaning schedules, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hotel policies Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services is highly preferred Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and chemical agent handling Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and safety procedures Understanding of sanitation standards, safety data sheets (SDS), and hotel emergency procedures is essential Previous experience with hotel experience or hospitality industry roles is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your attention to detail transforms guest experiences!
