A Maid or Housekeeping Staff provides cleaning and housekeeping services, primarily for rooms and bathrooms in hotels and hospitals. May also work in private residences, office buildings, colleges, other institutions.
The Housekeeper will be responsible for daily cleaning for all of the operations including but not limited to: offices, public spaces, restroom facilities or any other common area within club house.. Performs light and heavy cleaning including but not limited to: window washing, furniture polishing, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, floor cleaning and polishing, emptying of trash cans. Identifies when supplies are needed and reports to supervisor. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Performs other duties as required. Graciously tends to the needs of members and guests. Always address members needs and requests immediately. Communicate with Manager to ensure all guest/member requests are fulfilled. Availability to work weekends and holidays
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Two years of housekeeping experience is preferred. Regular and reliable attendance. Must have the ability to work independently. Must have a pleasant and upbeat attitude Must be able to multi-task Must be able to bend and move to the requirements of the job Must be able to stand for long periods of time Able to work a flexible schedule as needed. Knowledge/Ability to vacuum/mop and clean areas.
Education & Work Experience Requirements:
High school diploma preferred not required Previously housekeeping experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
