Housekeeping Team Members - Housekeepers, Laundry Attendants & House AttendantsOverview Nova Inn Resort is seeking reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented team members to join our Housekeeping Department. We are currently hiring for Housekeepers, Laundry Attendants, and House Attendants . We are looking for individuals who take pride in cleanliness, work well as part of a team, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment. Duties will vary depending on the position and daily operational needs. Responsibilities Responsibilities will vary based on the assigned position. Housekeepers Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards Make beds and replace linens and towels Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, surfaces, and kitchen areas Replenish guest amenities and room supplies Maintain housekeeping carts clean, organized, and stocked Use the housekeeping app to receive assignments and start/complete rooms Inspect rooms for missing or damaged items and report maintenance concerns Meet daily room productivity and quality standards Laundry Attendants Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels Follow proper washing, drying, and linen-handling procedures Inspect linens and towels for stains, damage, or items requiring replacement Keep clean and soiled linens properly separated Maintain the laundry room clean, safe, and organized Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when inventory is low Prepare and distribute clean linens for Housekeeping operations House Attendants Collect and remove used linens, towels, and trash from guest room areas Keep housekeeping storage and supply areas clean, organized, and stocked Assist Housekeepers with heavy or time-sensitive tasks as needed Clean and maintain exterior corridors, stairways, walkways, common areas, and other assigned areas Remove trash and maintain designated trash and disposal areas Deliver guest-requested items such as towels, linens, and amenities Move housekeeping supplies, equipment, furniture, and other items when required Assist with room preparation and turnover during high-occupancy periods Report maintenance issues, damages, safety hazards, or unusual conditions immediately Respond to assignments and communicate completed tasks through the hotel's housekeeping/communication system Support the Housekeeping team wherever needed to ensure rooms and property areas are clean and guest-ready All Housekeeping Team Members Follow hotel cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and security procedures Work efficiently while maintaining quality standards Communicate promptly with supervisors and other departments Maintain a professional and positive attitude Assist with other Housekeeping Department duties based on daily operational needs Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping, laundry, or house attendant experience highly preferred Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to follow procedures, assignments, and productivity standards Comfortable using a smartphone or housekeeping application Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift Ability to lift and carry linens, supplies, trash, and housekeeping equipment as required Must be comfortable frequently using stairs and moving between floors Positive attitude and professional conduct Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Schedule Day shifts Weekend and holiday availability required Flexible scheduling based on hotel occupancy and operational needs Benefits & Perks Paid Time Off (PTO) for eligible team members Access to health and wellness benefit options Employee discounts and special offers through our employee benefits platform Company-provided uniform Employee food discounts Hotel discounts for employees and eligible family members Opportunities for growth and advancement
